Of particular interest in Stuart's consultancy is to work with clients to address the interface between what they do – tasks and actions, and how they do it – through self-awareness, making a choice in their behaviours. Stuart has an engineering background, and has particularly enjoyed working with leaders of technical organisations. Background
After a successful early career as a Drilling Engineer in the oil exploration industry in the UK and overseas, Stuart broadened into a series of learning, leadership development and organisational consulting roles within BP, both in Exploration & Production and in Refining and Marketing businesses. He completed an MSc in Organisation Consulting at Ashridge, UK in 2004, and set up his own consultancy business at the start of 2006.
Stuart is based in the UK and has lived and worked internationally, with significant experience in Europe, North America, South America and Africa.
