Kris Lonsway, Ph.D.

Kris Lonsway is the founder and principal of Lonsway Consulting, LLC, a management consulting firm.  Kris has over 15 years of consulting and research experience helping companies build organization capability and achieve transformational change. Kris provides tailored organizational development and process optimization solutions in areas such as Leadership Development (via Executive Coaching and Training), Team Development, Conflict Management, Strategic Communication, Organizational Design, Business Process Reengineering, Performance Measurement and Large Group Meeting Design/Facilitation.

Kris’ diverse set of clients have included BP Amoco, DuPont, AT&T Wireless, ABN AMRO LaSalle Bank, RBS Charter One/Citizens Financial Group, American Family Insurance and Soucie Horner Ltd., among other companies.

Prior to starting Lonsway Consulting, LLC, Kris reported to the COO of a $1B Commercial Banking business unit at ABN AMRO LaSalle Bank where she implemented several strategic initiatives enabling them to become the top performing business unit in North America.  Prior to ABN AMRO, Kris served as the Vice President of Human Resources and Internal Branding for a marketing start-up where she was responsible for building the organizational infrastructure for a 130-person company.  As a manager at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), Kris specialized in process reengineering and organizational design in a cross-industry Process Excellence consulting group.  At ABN AMRO LaSalle Bank and BP Amoco, Kris provided internal organizational consulting services to international business units, operational areas, manufacturing facilities, and shared services departments.  These services ranged from developing and deploying strategic communication and team development tools to leading a company-wide digitization effort that automated manual processes. 

Throughout Kris’ career, she has designed and taught corporate training classes, as well as undergraduate and graduate level courses, on topics such as Leadership, Client Management, Communication, Myers Briggs (Teambuilding), Organization Consulting Skills, Team Development, Conflict Management, Balanced Scorecards and Change Management.  Kris specializes in designing and delivering customized training programs, processes, and large group meetings/offsites that align with company strategy and target critical pain points.

Kris believes in a holistic, collaborative approach empowering companies to sustain results and continuous improvement.

Kris holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Illinois and a B.S. in Psychology from Texas A&M University.  Kris is a Member of the Board of Directors for the Autism Society of Illinois.
