How We Do It

Methodology -- Working directly with business leaders or in concert with their HR practitioners W.I.S.E-HR uses a simple and efficient process to help you evaluate your current HR practices to ensure they underpin and support your business strategy. 
 
When you are not totally certain of the work that needs to be done to ensure you have strong people practices that support your strategic direction we will begin with a Diagnostic review to review your current HR practices and processes against a set of standards.  Upon completion of the review we prepare a briefing of the results and share them in a one on one consultation or collectively with your entire leadership team.  This analysis will identify gaps in your current practices and will make recommendations for closing those gaps.

The diagnostic work is done using three lenses – Leadership; Team Work and Processes; and the Environmental Conditions impacting your business.  To do so we employ the following:

  • Change facilitation -- For effective change, stakeholders must be brought into the conversation so we will begin by inviting stakeholders into conversations.  The content of these conversations will be agreed with you at the start;
  • Fostering connectivity internally and externally -- Discover together how customers, suppliers and competitors impact your business;
  • Capitalizing on your internal resource by creating work streams -- This step ensures you fully utilize your internal expertise to foster change.  In this step we agree on what expertise is needed and what internal resources are available to design, support and facilitate the change;
  • Defined and agreed deliverables -- After the initial diagnosis and interviews, together we will agree to deliverables, timing and measures for the HR services we will provide;
  • Communication -- W.I.S.E.-HR will assist you in preparing a comprehensive communication plan to ensure success;
  • Project Management -- we use a comprehensive project management tool so you know the status of your project  at any point in time;
  • Tool Box -- Finally W.I.S.E. - HR will support you in developing a customized tool box to ensure sustainable results.

In some cases you will want support for specific changes.  In situations where business leaders and HR practitioners already have a strong understanding of the programs and processes they would like to employ, W.I.S.E.-HR will simply want to understand how the programs you are requesting support your business strategy.
